BEER HAIKU #50 The lost haiku

I found this haiku in my notes with no title attached.  It’s our 50th haiku, the lost haiku.  I suspect it was composed in late 2012, and the beer was definitely purchased at Hashigo zake Cult beer bar.  Who knows what beer it is… who knows? Suggestions welcome.

The beer for short men

Chocolate chewy Christmas cake

Napoleonic*

*drink, Corsican

“Silky rich and velvety, steam punk sounds a little tryhard”

“A substantial full bodied beer”

The draughtsman said “ it gets a bit fruity at the end, its like you have consumed a whole fucking Christmas cake!

Food match: blue cheese; icecream; walnut and honey loaf with goats cheese

This is the type of beer you have when you have already put on your slippers and are lighting a cigar.
