BEER HAIKU #63 Fitzpatrick’s ESB

Since it was Melbourne Cup Day, it was inevitable that a couple of the regular crew would succumb to the lure of the ponies and unbridled speculative frenzy. For those who did make the effort to descend into Hashigo Zake Cult Beer Bar, there was ample compensation in the form of the second half of the Packers-Bears game* and an entirely respectable Brit style ale from balmy Tauranga, in New Zealand.
