BEER HAIKU #64 Liberty/Hallertau KommisionA Pale Ale

News that Gingerbeardyman had become a father for the second time (at least second that he admits to) all but required a ceremonial wetting of the infant’s head. As fate would have it, Hashigo Zake Cult Beer Bar was offering as the weekly new release a collaboration between the newly cohabiting Liberty and Hallertau. KommisionA is the kind of hoppy pale that in other circumstances would bring smile to the hirsute features of the Thirsties’ token Scotsman.

Liberty/Hallertau KommisionA Pale Ale (6.0% ABV)

Hoppy happy time
For gingerbeardy baby
Lots of pineapple

Food match: Plantains with plenty of garlic, Soylent Green, beetroot salad with mandarins and toasted sesame seeds

It’s the kind of beer you drink: After a hard day’s work changing nappies.
