BEER HAIKU #70 Baylands Knight Ryder Choc Stout

Newlands’ most notable contribution to Metropolitan culture, Baylands have attempted the ambitious double of a Chocolate Stout that is at the same time a Rye beer. How would it stand up to legends of both varieties? Only the haiku would tell!

Baylands Knight Ryder Choc Stout (5.7% ABV)

Stout – checkin’ it twice

Dark chocolate and hazelnuts

Tuft of hairy thar

Food match: Christmas mince pies, rare char-grilled steak

It’s the kind of beer you drink when: It was left out for you on Christmas Eve.

To our tens of fans, the Thirstyboys we hope you had a joyous festive season and a messy New Year.
