Since late 2011, we have been going to the Tuesday night new releases at Hashigo Zake Cult Beer Bar inWellington, but apart from the Garage Project we have never blogged about the beers.  Today, we launch the Beer Haiku (an occasional series) to address this gap in our beer tasting coverage.

1. A Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
